We are thankful to have so many wonderful students and mentors on our team to push our once-small-club to even greater heights. In recognition of our students and coaches alike, we have a complete profile of our current and past members, who built our team to where it is today.
Ralph Albrecht is a patent attorney who founded Albrecht Law Firm. He is also the head coach of the Falls Church Robotics Team, and is a parent volunteer.
John Bertha is the teacher-sponsor of the team, and is currently a computer science teacher at Falls Church. He is a coach of the Falls Church Robotics Team.
Sohkom Kith is an engineer at the Naval Research Labs in Washington D.C. He is also a coach of the Falls Church Robotics team, and is a parent volunteer.
Founding (Former) Mentor
Dan Tra was the founding coach of the team. As well as inspiring many other STEM related teams and programs, such as CyberPatriot and GiTech, Mr. Tra was a former computer science teacher at Falls Church. He has since transferred to work at Woodson High School.
Retired Founding President
Danielle Kaldmaa was one of the original members of the team and is a graduated Falls Church President. She has since become a mentor for the team and is a freshman in college.
Joshua Booth is a software developer at CSRA. His primary role is the programming mentor of the team, however, he assists other subdivisions as well.
Founding Senior President
One of the original founders of the Falls Church Robotics Team, Anhtuan is currently Senior President of the team and is VEX Project Manager.
Sam Morstein is the Junior President of the Falls Church Robotics team. He is also FTC Project Manager.
FRC Project Manager
Cole Wendrowski is a junior at FCHS. He is the FRC Project Manager.
A junior at FCHS, Jacob handles much of the budget for the team and works with members to organize fundraising and outreach events.
Rojo is a junior at FCHS, and handles much of the inter-club communications. As well as managing the Team's Discord and bi-weekly email, the Jaguar Firmware Update, he also is the person to talk to when dealing with sponsors.
Jason Caceres is a senior at FCHS, and is in charge of safety on the team. As well as regulating the team's safety policies, Jason is responsible for teaching safety practices to rookies, training students to use workshop machines safely, and teaching first-aid.
Build Captain/VEX Project Manager
One of the original members of the Falls Church Robotics Team, Andre is the Captain of Build Team, and teaches new recruits about electronics, tools, and material selction.
One of the original members, Alexander Savinski is a senior at FCHS. He is the head of the CAD team, and is responsible for teaching rookies about 3D Design and Computer Aided Design (CAD).
Daniel Lower-Basch is a junior at FCHS. Daniel is Captain of the Programming Team, and teaches new recuits about programming in several languages, and their different uses.
Head of Photography/Media
Akira is the photographer of the team, and specializes in photography and film-making.
